When to Use an ImageNow Custom Property

One of the most important times to use custom properties instead of index values in ImageNow/Perceptive Content is when you’re working with dates. Using a custom property allows searching by data ranges and other functionality not available with index value searches. Remember: index values are strings and nothing more. Capturing values from dynamic content webpages

Changing Document Key labels

In the ImageNow toolbar, click on Manage, and select Application Plans. Find your application plan and select it, then click Modify. Click on Document Map, select the key you wish to label, and click on Modify. In the Advanced area, next to Alternate Label, type the name that you would like to use. Click OK, close the window, and when prompt to save your changes, click on Yes. Note: You can now map to these keys when creating or modifying capture profiles by selecting the “Application” value.
